The Brief: Tanti Constructions was approached to design and construct a new entry and bar area by Adelaide reception centre, Ayers House. As a heritage listed building, strict design requirements meant that the new structure could not share any similarities with the original building.
The Challenge: Tanti was faced with the challenge of creating a completely modern addition to Ayers house that would flow harmoniously into the original structure. The Tanti team worked in conjunction with the client to create a space that caters to the venue’s changing needs. Time constraints were also an issue, as Ayers House had long standing venue rentals that that could not be interrupted by the renovation. Tanti faced all of these challenges head on, and was able to deliver an exceptional end product.
The Result: Tanti’s renovations to Ayers House resulted in a sleek, modern interior that perfectly compliments one of Adelaide’s finest historic buildings.
